This course prepares participants to be well-rounded financial capability intervention practitioners, capable of training, providing counseling and money advice or financial first aid. Participants acquire comprehensive knowledge of financial capability intervention theories, practice and behaviour change models, as well as their application to the real world. The course enable participants to be competent at delivering formal and informal interventions as well as motivating, engaging and moving learners to take decisive financial action. At the end of the course, participants gain credibility and self-assurance to manage financial capability interventions effectively; in summary, the course enables participants to:
